Sustainability
Nothing on this page will be published without something behind it.
Why this page is nearly empty. Denim is a water-heavy industry and most brand sustainability pages are written by a copywriter rather than measured by anyone. We would rather publish three things we can evidence than thirty we cannot. What follows is what we are working on.
Where we are
Measured, not claimed
| Area | What it covers | What we would need to show | Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| Water | Water used per garment through the laundry. | Litres per garment, measurement method, baseline year, before/after figures. | Not yet published |
| Wastewater | Treatment of effluent from dyeing and washing. | ETP existence, treatment capacity, discharge test reports, issuing authority. | Not yet published |
| Energy | Energy sources powering the facility. | Installed solar kW, share of total consumption, installation date, invoice or photograph. | Not yet published |
| Materials | Use of organic, recycled or certified fibres. | Supplier name, certificate (BCI / GOTS / OCS / GRS), percentage of total usage. | Not yet published |
| Waste | What happens to cutting waste and rejects. | Diversion rate, method, name of the party handling it. | Not yet published |
| People | Who makes the clothes, and under what conditions. | Audit body and date if audited; otherwise an honest description of the team and the workplace. | Not yet published |
